1. Introduction
Minote is a digital application that helps users capture, store, and relive memories through text, audio, and images.
By creating an account and using the app, you accept these terms. We recommend that you read them carefully.
2. Access and Subscription
Minote offers both free and paid subscriptions (“Pro” or “Premium”).
Paid subscriptions are automatically renewed upon expiration unless you cancel before the next billing period.
Prices and features may vary depending on the plan you choose.
All prices are shown in Danish kroner (DKK) and include applicable VAT.
Cancellation can be made directly in the app or via your account on the App Store / Google Play.
3. Use of the Service
Minote may only be used for personal reflection and storage.
You may not use the service for illegal purposes, distribute offensive material, or attempt to access systems without authorization.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that misuse the service.
4. Intellectual Property Rights
All content you create and upload (text, video, journal entries, images, audio) belongs to you.
By using Minote, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your data for the purpose of providing the service.
The software and its AI features belong to Minote ApS and may not be copied or circumvented.
5. Data and Privacy
We protect your information in accordance with GDPR.
All personal data is processed securely, and your notes are private by default.
We do not share personal data with third parties without your consent, unless required by law.

6. Payments and Refunds
Payments are handled through third-party payment providers (App Store, Google Play, or Stripe).
Upon cancellation, you will retain access to the service until the end of the paid period.
Refunds are not provided for payments made during the beta period or for already paid subscriptions, unless there are technical issues caused by Minote.
7. Limitation of Liability
Minote is a reflection tool and not a medical, therapeutic, or diagnostic instrument.
We cannot be held liable for direct or indirect losses resulting from the use of the app.
The service is provided “as is” without guarantees of full availability or error-free operation.
8. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be announced via the app or email at least 14 days before they take effect.
Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
